Someone once said that "all models are wrong... some models are useful". That sage advice is always in the back of our minds when we are developing decision support models for clients. Models need to be correct, but often they are too detailed which adds expense and loses sight of the original intention.

Our aim is to design models which enable critical scenario and sensitivity analysis to be performed, such that clients can quickly gain an understanding on the bounds of certain decision-points, and what factors need to change in order for the decision to change.
